nissan navara 3.0 litre diesel stalling

My uncle has a navara 2002 3.0 litre diesel with about 145,000 km on it,and in the last couple of days has started stalling,does it at anytime.You stop and turn the key and it starts again.Could get dangerous on the highway,noone can seem to find the problem.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Does the engine management light come on?? if so just plug it into a diagnostic computer at Nissan..they'll tell you straight away.
I'm thinking...how long since fuel filter was changed...could it be clogged up?
or..
the old MAF...usually the cause of most issues with the ZD30's.
Make sure he doesn't have a after market air filter, it stuffs up the MAF's

g'day barely there . had experience with a triton doing similar thing tried every thing. last resort pulled injector pump off and sent pump
shop . pump was u/s caused by dirty fuel .
