Who remembers the good old day's when Don McGuire had his country music request program on 2PK
Parkes each Thursday and Friday nights in the 60s and 70s, back then if you wanted a request song you had to actually sit down and write a letter , and post it,No email then,Don was very good Scrabble player, when on a visit to see his mother in
Adelaide he called around to my place for a visit and thrashed me with scrabble, Don left 2PK a few years ago , I have lost track of his whereabouts,

Another good one .
That ford in the picture is that a xy or xr. I had one and I always wanted a Holden like the one in the picture.
All the best

That wagon is an XW. Had a couple. Probably had a 3.6l motor.

Yep, not much difference. Vertical bars in the grille instead of the Mustang style and the XY had a 250cu ins motor.

I think either that or a HG or HT. Not real Holden follower. Actually in those days, the Holdens normally followed me.
