Well in my 3mnth quest to find OME wheels for my 2000 lux 3L non-turbo diesel lux (since chipped and both diff's detroit trutac'd) since the young bloke before me put on oversize alloy under sized wheels but I failed when buying to notice the spare was the wrong size, and i must say i am being anal cause of course I could have let it be, but you know, you get a bug ...

Found, in Trader on exploroz, Steve in Sippy Downs about 100km away selling some lux wheels with Cooper tyres like not worn at all for $750. Would they fit? yes, are my current tyres about to be illegal? yes, so new cooper tyres? holy cow, so 5 x steel wheels with cooper AT's with 98% tread asking $750? worth a trip from brissie.

Turns out he's of course the nicest bloke met for ages and he works as an independent contractor surveying and maintaining the things that power our 240v appliances so has had like 10 hiluxes has been everywhere in Qld and still goes everywhere in Qld and has the most spec'd up current ute I have seen in a long time, well would if you spend your working life in it. So we bargain and he throws in a set of Mont Blanc Rhino bars and attachments. Sh#t, I own a supercheap set that I bought on special cause someone had returned them, imagine my eyes popping out? Because of his generosity, I couldn't offer him what I had planned to start negotiating from. I think he was stoked to get the cash and I didn't have to pull my big guns about what it really cost him cause it was a depreciated business expense and I genuinely think we are both two happy customers. I get 5 OME 16" steel perfect condition steel wheels with Cooper 225/75 AT's on them and the strongest roof rack set made and he gets cash for some space in his garage he always wanted.

Thanks, subscription for years paid off.

Yeh....OK but is that what he meant, I hope it wasn't your No 2.
I naturally took OME to mean what your No 2 was ,
