I should be able to get some info tomorrow at work, as a mate stayed there recently on a M-bike trip.

I think the park you are referring to is at Mingo Crossing.

Can't find much info about it either.

That place rings a bell Neil, I believe there is a turn off just south of Gayndah.

We have camped at Paradise Dam, in the boat ramp area that will eventually be flooded. There were No Camping signs, but heaps of people, especially with boats, were camping over the weekend. I think until they build a proper camping area, they are turning a blind eye to it.

We also checked out Mingo Crossing, and there was one fellow camped there.

There are toilets available at the Dam. Not sure at Mingo Crossing.

This was about 5 months ago, so not sure what changes, if any, have been made.

I am not aware of any other camping near here.

Bruce,

I believe Mingo Crossing is on the Mt Perry - Gayndah Road where the road crosses the Burnett River.

From what I have been told there has been a new recreation/camping area established there with showers/toilets and there are several powered sites there.

Regards,
Neil
