Unko. Looks ok and a go lots of
places vehicle. Guess it would depend where it has been and what you need to do to it. With that many mods my guess it has had a hard life. Cheep enough to renew some bits though. Cheers Tony

What a great off road accessory that must be - 4 wheel steer I mean. No more complaints about turning circle.

Ummm I think the 4wheel steer is a misprint somehow.
The 1980's 70 Range wasn't very successful for Toyota. We had a petrol model and although it was quite good out bush we had engine troubles with it and got rid of it quick smart. Those vehicles had a problem with delaminating of the cogs in the rear diffs
Its worth about $4500 in my opinion.
Cheers

Cruiser, this redbook is for the Bundera which is a different vehicle. Coils springs, different body construction etc.

Unko, I would get onto Norm if you're after a shorty. GQ, the 4.2 diesel are great engines and with coils all round these things are little bullets.
Compare that to 4 cylinder diesel, with leaf springs all round the ride would be rough as guts and have less off road ability than the GQ. No contest.

Sorry, i just noticed it may have a 1hz 6 cylinder diesel engine. Who knows? Anyway the GQ would still be a better buy.
