We flew down to Bris for 'Riverfest' from
Emerald Q and loved it..Sunday we all went for a drive via
Rathdowney. Asked the first person we saw (mowing) where Sully lived. Dropped in. He was wrapped. (He tossed me & Rusty out of a DH Domonie on our first few jumps. A good jumpmaster 'cause, no way was he gunna let us back in the plane) Wife, son & I went down to pub in his Volvo a friend lent him when his 'Cruiser ran away from him & crashed. Magic at the pub. Motorcycles & 4x4s coming & going all the time. Great roads round there. Bends & hills. Tops for listening to the pipes playing their tunes. Meeting heaps of Sullys friends. Must be someone, surely, he does not know round there. Seems Ruth & Ian are out at BV again. Saw/photoed his wide track camper. No doubt, most of you guys know he stays away from computors. He is 'full of beans' & still on the go. Looking super fit and healthy. Rgs Lofty H

Yep I camped next to Sully a few years back at
Birdsville CP. He had an amazing array of 'gear' in that old bushtrailer of his.
Those were the days when Ian and Ruth lit a fire next to the front
gate of a night time. Sully came out with his 'Kero Primer' to get the wood heap ready and then ignited the lot with his 'Flame Thrower'. Awesome.....LOL
We had a few good yarns. I heard through Ruth that he had had a slight mishap and some strife after that but it good to see he is still hale and hearety and full of beans.
Cheers
