Hi dose anyone know a good reliable mechanic around the
Rockhampton CQ area that knows how to block the EGR off and adjust turbo & fit manual boost control to suit on my2003 zd 3lt patrol and if they have had theirs done about how much? Also is there somewhere local or in AU that sell a digital boost gauge.

You can block the EGR off yourself. Just have to make a plate where the tube runs up from the EGR valve on the drivers side towards the rear of the engine and where it goes up and into the inlet manifold. The pipe is in the shape of a "C".
As for the boost. They are a variable vane turbo that can run up to 15 psi boost. 25 psi when the MAFF sensor craps itself. How much more boost do you want.
You are better off installing a D Tronic or Tunit to gain better low down boost.

I am not chasing more boost as I have a DPchip as
well as a
2 3/4" exhaust I just don't want to over boost as I have read that you need to adjust the turbo to stop from over boosting after blocking EGR as it shouldn't boost no more than 18psi max
