I don't think anyone has posted about this yet.

Just downloaded the new Chrome internet browser from Google and I cannot believe how much quicker it is to load and render pages, including this forum.

Lots faster than Internet Explorer and a bit quicker than Firefox.

Still working through the options and setting up home pages and stuff but very impressed so far.

The download and set up was very painless. Give it a go!

Cheers

Morning Muddy

It seems easier to handle. Still looking at how to do this and that.

Thanks for the heads-up

HI Muddy,
There was an article in Queensland newspaper about privacy issues with Chrome.
Claim is that it stores a lot of personal data about those who use it (customers). According to report privacy advocates have warned customers about this aspect.
Has this been your experience
Cheers,
Glen

Chrome is at least twice as fast as Firefox (up to 10 times faster in some functions). It absolutely kills IE7. It is good if you have a lot of tabs open (70 is no problem). If a tab dies the browser stays up as each tab is an instance. It does have issues though. It has several flaws. One is it is suseptable to certain malicious attacks. The other is that it does not always render pages that well particularly if they are spesifically designed for IE.
