After ringing AAMI to ask why my small policy covering the Scroogemobile C/t has gone up 35% plus an increase in excess &
a drop in amount insured, only to be told that this was just an
increase in costs.....Spare me the agony......I ring NRMA for a quote & the helpful lass gives me a figure close to the one asked
by AAMI BUT with less excess, double contents cover, & most
importantly, a non reducing fixed "amount insured". Yes, the sum insured is fixed for the life of the Policy & not depreciated annually.
Plus my 60% no claim remains in force no matter how many times
I claim. I took it... this may be of some interest to you if renewal
is soon. Will NRMA put the premium up by 35% next year ?
Who knows ? Will have to wait & see...........oldbaz.

Give MHIA a call on 1800- 676-700 they will give you a quote, have been with thenm several years and highly reccommend them. If you are, or become a member of ACC you will get extra benefits.

Hi guys,
I have just bought a camper van and thought i would check this out compared with my policy. Same excess but $200 cheaper than my policy, so the quote is in the mail. Waiting to read through the policy before i take them up on it but impressed with the quote so far

I just gave them a ring. very helpful lady on the phone.
$180 to insure our camper tent trailer for contents and trailer to the value of $9000.00.
Got to be happy with that.
Just waiting now for the paper work to turn up so I can read through the fine print in the policy.
