I know the
bore that you are talking about. A good point to make here is that any person that undertakes any serious outback trip, must plan their
water requirement correctly, and not rely on any bores for topping up supplies. As with any
bore, the
water quality would most times always be the same, as the aquifers from where the
water is drawn do not change in quality, except where there is high rainfall to so call flush the
water out.
Also for medical reasons, there could be serious health problems in taking
water from an unknown source. The best way is to plan your trip, as you have done. Any new comers to outback travel should travel with someone who has experience in remote travel.
