I've been looking at putting a drawer system in my 4x4. One of the products on offer uses industrial strength teflon instead of rollers. This supposedly never wears out and allows more storage room. Has anyone heard of these or had any experience with same?

Mike,
Having delt with teflon through work, The only problem you may/will have is Fixing it down, You will have to use some sort of mechanical means (countersunk screws) as not much will stick to teflon, I am also led to belive that it is quite Pricey.
It will last a long time as it has a very low coefficient of friction and therefor not wear, Just make sure your draws are securely restrained!!!!!

Mike A,
With Teflon being relatively soft just be aware hat if you get anything harder than Teflon like grit and sand etc it will stick into the teflon and wear the harder surface being the runner, this in turn will cause the draw to stick, plus you've got the fastening issue as mentioned before on another response. A my place of work we had a carbon steel pipe supported on a teflon skid trying to prevent fretting on a pipe support, over time sand and grit got embedded and wore through the pipe. Keep the shiny side up
