Hi All. Just want to know if anyone has installed a trip computer on a Patrol GU 4.2TDI. I am only interested in the fuel consumption reading so any info would be appreciated. Keith

Keith,

I have been looking for ages and there's nothing that will work for my GU. There's a product called scanguige but it doesn't work on some of the Patrols. I know it doesn't work on my 4.5 Some people have had sucess but not with Patrols

Thanks Troll 81 Same here. I have a ScanguageII which has worked on other cars I've had but not on my Patrol which has a 14Pin connector which is for the Nissan Consult protocol. I was supplied with the bad news in thread 61019. Was was wondering how the other Diesel models get the fuel flow information for their inboard Trip computers

Hey guys, on the Nissan Patrol forum, there is a guy who goes by the handle of "Chaz". he has done a pretty amazing set-up using the Nissan OBD -consult system and a laptop and the Nistune program. He gives a very good description of how to set the system up and the tools/parts needed here. .

Hope this helps

Mick

Read that Mick but didn't see the fuel consumption info being one of the sensors available. Good little setup for the other readout Thanks
