Water On The Canning Stock

Greetings to All,

I am seeking any hints of semi-consistent water in a few areas of the Canning Stock Route. Not too worried about salty water or brackish (should be able to filter), but any tips with possible GPS locals/map locals would be hugely appreciated. Looking for water in between Well 26 & Diebel Springs, between Well 26 & the Kunawarritji Community (well 33), between Well 36 & 46, between Well 49 & Halls Creek. I deeply appreciate any confident tips you can pass along.
Thank You!

Sandman,

have you checked out the Trek notes on the url=http://www.exploroz.com/TrekNotes/WDeserts/Canning_Stock_Route.aspx]Canning[/url] this site. They list all the refurbished wells and water points.

Cheers, Mick

Had not seen the deeper notes within that section. Wasn't all that good at getting the pointer on the spot for the interactive mapp either. Thanks loads Mick!

Much appreciated,

Sandman

No worries Sandy,

the notes are kept very much up to date as members feed in each travel season. Make sure you take a break into Rudall River on your way through. It's an incredible place and only a minor detour off the track from Gorgia Bore. A fantastic place to rest a while.

Cheers and enjoy your trip.

Gidday Sandman

Contact me on kimmc@satlink.com.au and I'll send a full survey of the wells we did about five years ago.

Be aware things can change considerably during that period of time. I'd also prefer you keep this information to yourself.

Regards

Kim
