Go buy another one from a reputable dealer, then you WILL get warranty when you need it .

Yeh.... Got me totally beat why people waste money buying stuff on ebay , and yes there'll be someone come up who'll brag about all the bargains they get but they'll say stuff all when they get the fingers burnt.

You wont be able to give them heaps as you now cant leave negative feedback for various reasons.

As Doug says cut your losses and buy a decent one.

It will cost you more to return it and for all the hassle is it worth it.
How much was it against one bought locally

Doug T. You win some you loose some on Ebay. You have to do the research to lessen the pain. But I got my HF Radio of Ebay complete with auto tune for $900. Did a good buy on the water tanks and tool boxes as well. So not aways bad and if you live remote it is handy. Cheers Tony.

Hi, I trade on ebay. I have had some problems along the same line, if you go to "MY Ebay" and click "Home" you can enter "live chat". They have been very useful to me and are down on false warranty, although your warranty claim seems to be a product fault no a seller one. Good Luck

Doug T
See thread 61484 that I initiated a week ago and you would not use EBay. A shame as there are honest sellers there but are difficult to identify.

You say
"this was a nickel hydride- 100 % dischargable for 600 times. it has done maybe 20 discharges"

What's actually wrong with the battery ?

What brand and capacity is the battery ??

If no brand shown, what are the relevant numbers / symbols etc.

Qubert,

If you used Paypal to pay for it , log into the site and you can access your transaction history like a bank statement.

Hope this helps ,

Glenn.

you could try your email to see if you have the email record of the bid.
