Many thanks to all who replied to this thread. Your expert advice is appreciated. My son borrowed a detector on the weekend and came home with a 4 gram nugget. His first one.
Once again thanks.
Cheers
Howard.

G'day Howard,
What detector did he end up using? Was it the 2100 under consideration?
Kind regards
Theo

Hi Theo
No it wasnt the 2100 but it looks like he is going to buy it. He was using an old one he brought new for about $300 about 10 years ago. He brought it from Treasure Enterprises in Brissie. Said the nugget was just under the surface so hes going back with the 2100 when he gets it.
Cheers
Howard
