Has anybody had any experience with these hitches.? I have been told by the dealer that my van, (24' Jayco Sterling) that I pick up this week will have the Coast to Coast WDH as part of the deal. They apparently work better with the LC200 than the Hayman Reese, because of the LC200 towball height. I can have the HR, but will have to pay the extra and I am not sure if it is worth it especially as I may have towball height issues.
My van is underslung which makes it 100mm higher but due to regs, the hitch is mounted on the underside of the draw bar so that it remains the same height as if it were not underslung...(if you understand what I mean..?)

Don
I recently fitted one to my Daughters' new Xtrail to pull her current model Jayco pop top.
They look very similar to the HR but the head unit is not adjustable & the sprong bars are round!
The trick is to get the 'right' head unit. From memory, you have a choice of three. To do this you measure the CVan towball receiver height when level on flat ground & then the centre of your vehicle hitch receiver. This data should lead you to the right head.
We did this & it worked OK.
Although it seems to be a relatively new product (the Coast to Caost dealer was experimenting with it when I purchased ours) your CV dealer should be up to speed with it.
I prefer the Hayman Reece ... but it costs a lot more.
cheers .. G

Cupie...(G)..??
Thanks for that and I established the various heights from the website but I thought they still had minor adjustments. Anyway, Jayco have all tjhree options and will set it up when I take delivery of the van.
I am morei nterested in quality to be honest..?? How robust are they??
