Kev
I have no idea at this stage, but for the benefit of all I will most certainly find out, I don't think it will be a 4x4 as it's too low, I will also get some details about the rig later, better let em settle in first.

I think the biggest, most impressive motorhome I have seen was in
Lakes Entrance in Victoria years ago.
It was a Denning coach with automatic everything, jacks, steps, awnings, curtains and at the rear a hydraulically operated
gate that folded down to allow access to the garage. Inside was a Sierra.
I was impressed.
At the other extreme is a guy I know with a 1970's Bedford bus. It has a bed tech screwed to the floor, a sink mounted in an old timber cupboard and bolted to the wall and 4 first class seats out of an old commercial aircraft.
Not all that impressive but he is out there living on the road and he is happy.

G'day Doug,
Not sure if anyone has started a book on this but I'd like to pick a sport car! Seen one similar in
Cairns a few years ago that had a Harley 3 trike in the trailer.
Kind regards

I suspect that the trailer
wheels alone would have been outside my price bracket! Some people have too much money - fancy towing any trailer behind a Lambo!
Just a thought (left field) my towbar place would freak if you asked if he had a towbar to fit. Wonder if he voids his warranty? I can imagine the lambo service centre - you did what!!!????
Kind regards

Further to Duncs' post, I saw this rig in
Port Lincoln last Xmas. Smart car garage and ramp at the rear of the bus. Beautiful rig. Need to win lotto alright.

That's it,
well a slightly newer version but it could be the same guy just traded up.
Everything operated at the touch of a button.
I also saw one in
Whyalla a couple of years ago that had roll out draws in the
bins. One was carrying a lounge and the one opposite had a large TV and stereo.
It might just be me but I think they are a bit like driving a house. I know it's not as comfortable or as flash but there is something nice about the change sleeping under canvas brings.

You are Right Duncs,
Does'nt matter if it's a Swag or a 5 Star Hotel, as long as you are
Happy, I would rather sit around a
Camp Fire with my
Cook, having
a few Beers or a Couple of Reds, just Star Gazing.

The only place that we would stay in for a holiday that isn't
camping is in chalets in the rainforest. 'The Mouse House' love it there, Stayed a night with some friends in a resort at Byron Bay, company was good but hated the resort. It just felt all fake and modcon plastic and we just didn't belong there. Nah..
camping is the only way to go.

When I was in Alice a couple of weeks ago we saw a new top of the range Winnebago (Tour bus size) with a Mercedes 4WD being dragged along on a trailer. Must have been near on 1/2 mil.
Something we noticed on our travels was that the older you are and the least kids you have the bigger the caravan or motorhome you need. Apparently.
