Dogs were allowed in Lane Poole reserve when I was there late last year. They just needed to be on a lead.

It's about 10min drive east of Dwellingup. A really nice place, but will be very crowded on a weekend.

Hi Matt,
You can
camp at Dwellingup in Lane Poole reserve(on the
murray river) with dogs. They need to be on a lead. It will be packed there next weekend. Its a large
park with about 10 different
camp grounds and heaps of areas around the back on the river. I wouldnt consider it on a long weekend. We are doing a trip up the
holland track that weekend? Its under members trips. Give me a call if you want any more info about Dwellingup.

Like Matt said,
we have camped there over a long weekend as
well (with one of the dogs) but it's really busy. Not so good if your after a quiet one.
Cheers,
Ross.

Wellington Dam is good with a dog, not in the Potter's Gorge
camp ground, but around on the edge of the dam itself. Plenty of room, and guaranteed to get a patch of bush overlooking the
water without any neighbours as you just keep driving until there are none.
I agree Dwellingup will be pretty busy, usually is on a long weekend being so close and accessable to the metro area.
