a mate of mine is an engineer of buses and I was talking to him on the weekend about bus conversions. He said a 20 year old Mercedes diesel bus of 12litres returnss you about 44 litres per 100 km !!!!Would you really want to travel like that?

Our latest model Euro 6 compliant Mercedes lowloader buses do 3.2 k per litre on a good day and a bit less when fully loaded and thats all flat running at mostly highway speed.

If you can afford the original item and the cost of professional conversion the fuel usage is minimal but agree not my style. I'll stick to the 18ft Coramal and Patrol

My 90 yo dad was talking of dying. I asked if when wherever he ended up, could he please send me the winning Lotto numbers.
He replied, "Nope"
"Whyever not ? " I replied.
"You'd only spend it on wine , women and song."

He died a couple of years later, and still hasn't changed his mind :((

G/Day Doug, Beautiful rig!!, But if had one all you could do is trail along behind a convoy of similiar vehicles on the black top. and if you departed the scene in the susuki how much sleep would you get worrying about the mother ship on its own in some unforgiving place

Cheers Axle.
