I've currently got a SWB GQ Nissan Patrol, but a Suzuki would normally have the space / seating / load carrying and towing capacity I'd need, so I'm meant to have a Suzuki not a Patrol but I've bairly seen them on or off road. I can't have a Sierra because I love auto's in 4wds and Sierra's only came out in manual, so it has to be a Jimny or a Vitara. What are they like compared to SWB GQ patrols on rocks, bogs, rutted hills, slippery hills, river crossings, sand, unsealed roads, trail, tree roots etc and what are they like on the road compared to SWB GQ's and do they get washed downstream easy in hard river crossings? Some say Suzuki's have more ground clearance then SWB GQ's, some say less, what would be the approximate equivalent tyre size ground clearance / rutted track and bog capabilities a Jimny and Vitara with a SWB GQ with 33's. Tell me anything you know about Jimny's, Vitara's and Sierra's to.

A shorty GQ is not in the same league as the Zooks. capable they certainly are but mods and accessories for the GQ are abundant. hard off road/ river crossing( depth?) bogs are going to be alot easier in the GQ. i am not certain of the towing capacity of the relevant zooks either.sand, trails and unsealed roads no problem,i think they struggle with severe off roading and mods i believe are minimal for the late model stuff.

On the road and in the sand I'd rather a Vitara for sure but generally speaking what goes more places in the bush out of a Vitara and a Jimny and out of a Jimny and a Sierra, if the Sierra's a way better I might go for that and get a manual, that's one advantage with liking manuals, there's more makes and models on the market you can choose from. I live in Narbethong Victoria for those who know where that is and most of the time that I'm behind the wheel is on the bush tracks in the area or the spur, and I'm constantly called to get bogged people out.
