EO Team,

Congratulations on achieving the 2,000 member milestone. Someone was saying on here the other day that interest and membership was on the wane, I don't think so.

Gee you guys do not miss a trick do you. We acheived this today for the first time when Michael & Adele were processing orders. I was not going to make much noise just yet as we go and and then overnight when the expiries are processed the number goes back down. So I was going to wait till we hit 2005 but hey thanks for the thoughts and well done for noticing.

So who ever was saying that was wrong, the number of new members was not growing at the same rate but still growing all the same. We have a number of new things coming along and we are working very hard on our membership system so keep the feedback coming and we will work to make your membership better all the time.

Have a good one.
David

Yeah good to see a small Aussie business grow, well done David and Michele you certainly deserve it :-)

Gramps it just happened to be a "Non Member" who made the comments about Members leaving......because of everything under the sun was wrong with the site and those who contribute.
Same "Non Member" has made the same sort of prediction/comment several times before over the years, particularly when he tries to make some sort of melodramatic comment about life in general.

Not untypical to have a churn rate with Membership to any organisation but so long as you can "churn up wards" over the longer term means you are doing something right.

The site is popular because of a number of aspects, its orderly and civil and the layout is simple to use, unlike many other sites that you just cant get your head around.. And its informative, updated regularly and there is some great people onboard.. Congratulations on the 2000 mark guys!!

David and Michelle

Congratulations with attaining the 2000 EO Membership mark.

This site has come a long way since its inception at the turn of the Century. I do recall that you struggled in the beginning and bewailed the fact that there were few advertisers on board(2002) and that the site was costing too much to maintain. But we rallied around and encouraged you to stick with it and the site has improved beyond recognition since that time.

Cheers

HaHaHaHa

after some brownie points are we??????

"I agree with you that this is the ONLY site that I visit that has these issues. While I believe I'll continue my membership, sorry blokes - you're stuck with me, I believe I'm quite within my rights to bring attention to underlying problems with the site. I'm not going to join some conga line and pretend everything is rosy when it obviously is'nt."

Richard,

Unlike you, I can give credit where credit is due. There is no contradiction between the two posts though I can see where you probably don't have the intelligence to understand that.
