At the risk of starting a topic which may have already been covered (I did try to search) has anyone got any good ways of temporarily sealing a camper against dust.

Where are you thinking of sealing it??

I would have thought that the manufacturer should have done that?

don't go off the bitumen!!! But seriously, this has been a constant topic. If you have a Jayco style camper there doesn't seem to be much you can do. If you want your fridge to run you have to have it vented. People will tell you that the "pressure vents" in the roof will prevent the ingress of dust - don't believe them!!! The only thing you can do is tape up the vents in the door and maybe apply duct tape across the front of the camper where the roof comes down over the walls. But you will always get some dust in. I can't comment on the box trailer type campers - never owned one - but from my reading on the forum the problem is similar.

hi, when we bought a secondhand jayco type camper the person before us had made or got made canvas covers that fitting over every vent and these were held there with velcro that had been stuck aroung the vent (on the outside) so when you needed the dust proofing just attach the canvas pieces to the velcro. we never try them out but were told they worked well, hope that helps chris.
