Evening all
My bride and I are keen to have a crack at gold prospecting. Before the big outlay to buy gear, we are looking at doing a couple of days at
Bendigo with a mob called Gold Prospecting Australia.
I know a few on here dabble with gold prospecting.
Has anyone any experience and
views on the outfit we are looking at? Particularly in the
Bendigo area.
Cheers
Jeff

Thanks Willem.
I figured there'd be a
forum somewhere, just didn't know where to find it.

Hey you two,
At least I change my photos every now and then. You lot have the same boring stuff day after day.
Yeah, it was hot and muddy and messy and 1985, on the way to the Gulf to work on a property. I would not like to take that same photo now.....LOL

Jeff ,
In 2008 , I did three tours of 10 days each with Gold Prospecting Australia and one the year before . They were
Nullagine ,
Cue ,
Halls Creek and
Tibooburra .
Mark runs the tours in a helpful and professional manner . He hires out gear if you do not have your own , and will spend hours with you teaching you detecting techniques .
The big problem with his tours , is they are usually booked out very quickly .
He lives in the
Bendigo area and knows it like the back of his big hairy hand .
Cheers ,
Willie .

Thanks Willie.
I remember reading your account of your first trip last year but could not remember the company.
Missed your latest post, just looked back at it now.
I'll contact them today and see what they have in Victoria in the near future.
Cheers
Jeff
