Was lookiing at EBay at what seems to be a reputable 4wd online store at a CTEK XS 15000 12v. (15amp) which seemed fine - something between the XS7000 and XS25000amp models .Trouble is a visit to CTEK home page doesn't show this model neither does Bainbridge Tech in Aust., whats the go? anyone have this model - was around $250

Yeah, they're legit (I think;-)) ..
I bought 2 of 'em (1 for daughter & SIL) a few weeks ago from ebay seller ' 4wdextreme ' for $230 ea.. (He currently has 'em for $240..
They appear to do what the makers claim they will do......
I was in Ashdowns a coupla weeks ago, and they're asking nearly $400 for the exact same unit, so on that basis, the ebay units are good value...

A word of warning when buying one off the net , any warranty issues that may arise would have to be delt with by whoever you purchased it from. As Bainbridge is the main distributor they will not honour the warranty on a product that is not sold though them or one of their distributers.
Cheers Dave
PS I have a ctek 1500 great charger

Thats interesting. I bought an XS7000 off ebay last week. Box says 5 year warranty. No paper work about warranty inside. I'll keep my fingers crossed it continues to work fine.

I think that they will dance on their other leg if you took the matter up with consumer affairs

I've recently been stung by an EBay seller and neither EBay or PayPal wanted or know about it. Purhase on EBay at your peril!!

Yep, I got stung with a HP Computer purchase off EBAY. I needed to do a reformat, and the discs didn't work. HP support told me it was a "refurbished machine from USA" and they couldn't help. And the EBay seller no longer exists.
I had to reformat it with XP and manually load all the drivers.
