Hi all I'm heading up to port for a week and besides going to
Valla beach ( there is a HotRod show on there for a few days ) I'm going to be looking for some fishing hot spots ,I remember years ago that we could pick up a feed of flathead on the quite side of the ferry and on the break wall over there as
well but that don't mean there always going to be there LOL! so if any one would like to share I'm all ears !
Regards J.B.

If you head north back over the bridge on the Pacific Highway then take the Blackman Pt turn. Follow that right to the end and you will find yabbie banks and maybe a few fish.

Hi J.B.,
Blackmans Point is a good place to start or any where along that side of the river. Turn off to the right on the Blackmans point Rd about half way along just near the caravan
park and it will take you to the river bank. Good flathead country on the tide change. great picinic areas also. Down near the ferry, up stream and down should be OK also. Ging there Sunday for a picinic. Might see you.
regards,
Gazal.
