Hi
just wondering if someone can give feedback on what the current or recent hilux 4dr with tray are like off road compared to a 2004 ifs 100 series gxl cruiser. 100 series has a few mods for clearance, load carrying etc .
concern is clearance on new hilux(obviosly can raise a bit) and light weight rear of vehicle.
has anyone got any specs on what can be done to the new highlux to increase height/clearance etc like the 100 series ifs able to raise front by 35-45mm as per ARB.
Any info would be much appreciated as maybe looking to swap to hilux.
Also any other 4dr utes such as nissan etc which may be comparable
cheers
fozzy

If you read 4wd action there was an article a few months ago where they chopped out the front
suspension of a Hilux and put a solid axle in it. Apparently did what you want.
A Navara has a higher towing capacity than a Hilux
