Best Camping spots along the Murray River

Hi Guys,
well, ... finally we head off in a few weeks.
Our plan is to pull up along the Murray for a few weeks/months over Christmas.
We have been & seen Renmark & Mildura - and love all of it, so any help with nice places to stay along the river would be great.
We have a 25ft self contained Fifthwheeler & a small dog, so free parking is no worries. - probably better is it?
We are a funloving pair & this will be the first trip of the rest of our lives, so we are very keen to meet & make lots of friends & join in with whatever is going on!
Hope to hear from you - "in the know" soon,
cheers from Vic & Tone

If you are heading for Mildura again, Bottle bend just outside Gol Gol is a great spot.

There are some good spots on the Murray on the Moama Side out the Barham Road.

About 10kms west of Yarrawonga.

(Actually, what am i saying....) No its crap! everyone else stay away! i want it all to myself ;-)

Nice place near a boat ramp into the river West of Moama called The Five Mile - becaue it is. Nice curve in the river while there is some water I guess but it is right on the outsiide of the curve and easy to get any towed vehicle in there. There was a guy that had been there for two weeks when we called overnight!

Gday
If you want to meet some of these wonderful people, try the Pyrenees on November 7/8/9/.There is a gathering when they all sit around the fire and tell each other yarns of the hard drives they have done.
The broken diffs and the flat tyres. Lost mud flaps and blown engines.
The address is in the things going on section.
