Great place to
camp, we spent a day at Paddy's flat in April this year. We were camped a bit further up the road at the Wilderness Lodge which cost money but Paddy's flat is free and just as good. If you
camp on the South side of the
bridge there are some deep pools for swimming and canoing.

Getting the caravan in might be a problem as the dirt road is quite steep in some areas. I had no problem with my camper fully laden with 240 lts of
water but it only weights 1300 kg. The road is definitely not a 4WD track, but I don't know what you are using to tow your caravan or how much it weighs.

We camped there 6 months ago - came in from the
Tabulam Southern End and had the place to ourselves. Nice spot - Headed North and there was one bridge with missing timbers on it due to flood damage.Should be OK with the van ,just take it easy with some dips and cattle on the road. Another good spot is Tooloom Falls which has
good camp spots and Swimming and Canoeing and is close to Paddys Flat
We rafted from
Tabulam to Alice on the Clarence ,Also Alice is a good spot for Caravans in a big grassy Area just on the Bridge Have Fun
