Have managed unexpectedly to get a few days off work. So would like to get a way. No time to do much research so maybe someone can help me. Looking for a somewhere to go and pitch my tent for a few days. would be prefer to be by a river or lake so i can catch a fish or some yabbies if lucky. If it was down a bush track away from it all that would be even better.

Not sure where in Vic you are ? Big River Bend up past
Warburton is a really nice spot although may be a bit cool at this time of the year. Good fish and good tracks. Anywhere around
Licola is perfect. Spent a lot of time up there over the years.
