trying to get info on a digital temp gauge that you could connect to and read heat from any part of your motor thanks mal b

i have one of these . they have saved my engine twice now. they are about 200 dollars, but are good. they have a micro switch and a high temp alarm .

i put mine inline of the top radiater hose. ( a piece of pipe threaded with a sender unit and put in the top hose is what i have done )

are these the ones that you can connect one end to any metal part of your motor ie head bolts ect or do they have to be in water thanks mal
