G'day all

This may sound a bit harsh, but who was the genius who planned Willowglen on the same weekend as the Grand final ????

As a Manly boy, I'm now going to have to miss out on a great event.
I'm amazed its not on the weekend of Bathurst. Really, 52 weeks a year, and thats the week they chose.

It has always been on that weekend since its inception.
I'd say you have to blame the footy mob for putting the "monkey circus" on a long weekend when more people than usual go away for the weekend.
How can you call watching a group of apes running around a paddock a "great event", much better to get out in the fresh air and great outdoors.

hi Peter

The "great event" i was refering to WAS the Willowglen challenge, not the football, but i do have to give "my" Manly another chance after last year

Oh well

The last event is the mud run so what you could do is go for the weekend and after the mud run drive to The Loaded Dog at Tarago (about 15 min) and watch it there. Perfect
