hi, we are heading off for a trip though NSW and was wondering if anyone know is there a set fire ban season in NSW?, we will be there through out November. i don't want to leave the camp ovens home if i can use it or on the same hand don't want to lug them around if we can't use it.
the areas we are going is Broken Hill, White Cliffs, Cobar, Dubbo, Bathurst, Parkes and then down to the River Murray to home.
thanks from chris.

thanks for that, i did Google just then and from what i can gather is that NSW doesn't seem to have a set fire ban season as we do in SA, but to make sure i sent them an email to findout for sure. chris.

Chris, we have a statutory Bush Fire Danger period which runs from 1st Oct until 31st March. During that time you will need a permit for any open fire. On announced Total Fire Ban days, no open fires are permitted.
Sounds like a good trip coming up mate, have fun.

Fred.
