I am looking at buying a late model Mitsi (late for me anyway) turbo diesel. Is any one out there willing to part with info on how they go. What sort of Ks can the donk do before a rebuild is required and can they tow in o/drive. Also prices on motor rebuilds.

Engine rebuild? Personally haven't heard of anyone having one done yet.
Towing in overdrive is always dependent on how heavy is the van/trailer you're towing. I tow my camper trailer in overdrive all the time with no problems whatsoever.

Go the 2003, will have 3.2 lt diesel, a lot more grunt and better fuel consumption.
