Hi all I have gone a got myself a Nuvi 760 to replace the GPSmap 60cs and I am happy with all the features.
However after installing the free map update to NT2009 (I think that's what it is called) the voice prompts are approx 200m out from the moving map, that is the prompt will say "turn left at smith street in 800m" and the map is at 600m form the next turn in the bottom right corner.
The map however is reasonably accurate to the position on the road and is showing the turn at the right time.
Does any one know why this may be and how it maybe fix, I have sent a email to garmin support but have not heard back from them
thanks
Jason

Hi Jason, I think this is a common problem with the new firmware , with firmware version 3.1 and below there didn't seem to have many problems until version 4 came out, Garmin will bring out another update soon,
I hope

Tricky one that eh, I can't give you a good answer because I don't have the update, My way of thinking is that the update is just that, added on to 2008, maybe you should have done what I have done, got the full CD so I can have it on the PC too.
Another theory is that at the time the voice says 800m you have travelled 200m when you look at the gps ...SLOW DOWN...lol.
