Hi Guys
It has been some time since I changed pads (back on the old GQ) so I am a little rusty. The Patrol now needs them at just on 100,000Klms
Would appreciate it if somone could confirm that the lower caliper retaining bolt needs two spanners to remove, one on the inside bolt and one on the outer.
Seeing I got 100,000Klms out of the original pads I thought I would stick with the Nissan originals.
Am confused ......on opening the box to find one pad has a 30mm bracket attached to the end of the pad at right angles to the back of the pad......the other 3 pads are the same. I would have expected everyting in pairs ??.....maybe they sold be the wrong ones
Any comments appreciated
David

the 30 mm bracket is probably a wear indicator , but its not just on one pad only though ,all of them usefully .

David,
Yes you will need to spanners I can't remember the size sorry. I did
mine about 12 months ago and went for Bendix and have been very happy with them so far.

Thanks guys
Will take the pads back to the dealier. Just cannot believe one of four pads is different. It has to be a mistake
