Hi all,
Is it the same in the lesser states? In 30 minutes we have the first Aussie Top Gear on here in Tassie. Looking forward to it.

It was'nt a bad show. Bit of a copy of the original, but I enjoyed it.

It was the 1st night but it will need to improve to keep me interested.
If they are going to have more 4wd content than the Brit version,
it will need to be more indepth than tonights offering to keep the average aussie offroader happy.

I found it ok, give it time.
Any motoring show interests me because I simply love cars.
Would rather more facts and figures than three blokes trying to out-do each other for 'comedian of the year'.
I dont know who the blond bloke is, but the show immediately improved everytime he shut up.
As I said, give it time.
Cheers....Lionel.

Agreed... the old bloke should go!
I will give it a couple more shows before passing judgement to let them get the jitters out of their system... just wish that old bloke would stop yelling at me! ha ha

I will give it a bit longer, I was not overly impressed to be honest, it was too much like the original and 2 of the guys appear to almost "ACT" the parts of Clarkson and Hammond, particurly the older bloke, the other fella is not too bad. The studio is the same, the Stig, the whole show is almost a cheap copy. Granted the Auzzie boys have big boots to fill, I would like to see it a bit more original.

The overwhelming impact of the whole show was the blond bloke shouting at me.
Hooning over
sand dunes didn't do their credentials any favours either.
BUT, I'll look in again and see if they improve, maybe with the volume turned down!

Loved it , espically as it had a good 4wding section in the sand and snow with those RAV's and Xtrail.

To be honest, I found it to be an embarrassing imitation of the original.

Not impressed by the antics in the sand pit.
Not setting a good example - no mention of airing down, safety marshals, cost of repairs to damaged vehicle etc
Way too much 'hoon' factor. Not appropriate behaviour for persons of influence on national TV.
Do we want Jo Average to drive and behave like that? No way!
cheers

Enjoyed the hooning around in the snow and sand. Too much like the pommy show to become a regular.
