We travelled over 11000Kms but did not sight one EO member!
At the start of the trip we called in at the Dowerin Field Day and then continued north up the GN highway via Port Hedland.Had a short side trip to Marble Bar then continued heading north taking in 80 mile beach, Broome, Derby,Windjanna Gorge,Kununurra and Lake Argyle before crossing the border into the NT.Did Darwin,Katherine, Alice Springs and Coober Pedy before heading to The Rock and Olgas and back across the Great Central Road then thru the goldfields and home to the Southern wheatbelt.
It was a great trip experiencing some big variances in temperatures and weather and a big dust storm in Coober Pedy.
Thanks to Motherhen for advising of conditions on the GCR

That was quick. Similar to our trip, only we didn't include Darwin and Katherine, or Cooper Pedy. It took us 4 months not 4 weeks!

Thats why they did not see any ExploreOZ stickers, cause they were flying ;-). You have to stay on the ground to see fellow travellers. Cheers Tony
