Am putting rodeo seats into my 1990 75 series landcruiser, have been told that the rear passenger side
seat ( right ) has a captive under under the floor. you just have to drill to find it. Could anyone confirm this. The original passenger
seat is a one & half seater.
Regards
Tony

I was told the same thing this morning.
Mine is a troopy, and at the front of the 1.5
seat there is a captive about 310 mm from the bolt hole near the door.
I am then to draw a line between the two captives at the back and measure the distance and drill a hole to get to the hidden captive.
Thats the theory, however I will have a look from underneath and only drill a small hole through the floor pan from above
Hope this helps.
Regards Bob

Excellent, i am also planning on doing the same thing, reckon you could post some pics of the finished product. How much modifying did you have to do to the
seat rails? Cheers Kroozer

Hi Kroozer, will measure everything up on my next day off. Monday 6-10-08. Will put measurements and tubular steel I used. I did however, use the existing
seat rails. I bolted tubular steel to the bottom of the seats and then lined them up in the truck and marked where the running rails should go. Not good at putting photos on, but will give it a try.

If you take your driver's side
seat & secure it in the passenger
seat position using the existing bolt positions you can then mark the rear inside bolt hole position from the drivers
seat mounting bracket. Be extra careful when drilling the hole to expose the floor nut as the main fuel
tank is directly below it. Cheers
