My Vision camper has one installed which runs the Pneumatic
suspension and opens the back door. Works
well, I also use it to blow off the dust before we setup
camp.

Hi extfilm
tied all the toy 12 volts - not worth the effort - too long - unreliable
Have had a system for abt 12 month in my isuzu truck 4wd truck for tyre inflation and operation of an air horn. Works
well - runs on 12 or 24 volt (
mine).
Set up to run constantly through a pressure switch. Maintains stored tak pressure for weeks wo compressor.
Need to wire directly back to battery with heavy cable through solenoid. Used plastic air line tube and fittings to separate compressor and
tank. All fittings to compressor and
tank are npt and not generally available - enzed or pirtec is the place to go.
Had a few issues with the supplier - but to be fair he made it all good in the end - sell items supplied by others - was some delay with some of the bits
Considering installing another
tank for more rapid response fro first inflation.
Hope this helps

I bought and installed one a month or 2 ago. I only purchased the compressor and have hooked it up to a 16 litre GMC re-charge
tank that I got from Bunnings for $49-. All hard-plumbed up and I have the old MaxAir plumbed to it as
well, so I can double the pump-up speed if need be.....
Mine is wired to a cab-mounted switch as
well and is controlled by an ARB pressure switch for cut-off purposes.
Works
well.

I have had the original model before the Boss (big thumper) for 5 years & it has been run long & hard. They are a very big compressor but if you have the room are excellent particually if you need a continuous duty unit to reinflate oversized tyres or reseat beads.
Cheers Craig......
