Why do you think you need someone to tag along with you?
The run across the Nullabor is an easy run with all sealed good quality highway with plenty of cars and trucks going both ways.

As she has previously posted in Thread: 6O689 the woman has not the experience of traveling the vast distance between South West SA and West Aussie and she just needs some good reliable information and our ENCOURAGEMENT.
Sure, she can do it alone but she obviously prefers the company and the feeling of security that goes with it to do what we (guys) take for granted :-))
(It's just a chick thing)

Mainey sorry but my memory about posts on here is not so good anymore.
I didn't recall the details of a thread posted 7 odd weeks ago.
When I replied she had not provided any information about being female or the reason why she needed or wanted company in this post.
I didn't discourage her all I did was ask a simple question as to why she felt the need to tag along with someone on a
well constructed and
well used road that is a very easy drive.
I would actually think that canvassing traveling companions on the Internet is a lot more risky than who you may meet on the Nullabour??
As everyone knows all the Axe murderers are busy trawling the Internet for victims and not traveling the highways of Aus. :-)

where are you ?
follow the road signs (Highway 1) to
PORT AUGUSTA
Then head WEST (into the sun) towards
Perth, there are about 40 designated "rest areas" on the Nullabor between
Port Augusta (SA) and
Norseman (WA).
The road is now all tar and is just a long, straight drive with some good scenery along the way, BUT not many "towns" so not a lot of fuel stops.
I first drove to WA from Vic when it was just a long dirt road, now that was an experience!
If you need further specific info just ask as there is a wealth of it here!

Hi Maney thanks for your reply.. I want to bypass
Adelaide. I only have a car which have a lot of weight in it. I dont have a wireless either as it died so its going to be a long way on my own if i dont get axed in the meantime.
Im nervous person and have panic attacks, hence the need for company.
But dont worry i reckon I,l find someone to tag along with

Honey you won't need a wireless.....
there is next to nothing out there so take a cd or tape player or you will be just listening to the wind in your hair ha ha
There are MORE people traveling to WA than from WA, so it may not be a problem, just pull in to the 'rest areas' just before dark and check out the other people doing the same as you, traveling to WA.
The genuine 'traveler' will give you no grief just good friendship.
