For those members interested in seeing a sample of river crossing in northern Australia. I've prepared a Youtube version of video footage we took last year.

The crossings were made during a 10 week, 13, 000 km camping epic from Perth to Cape York and return (map and gps track plots attached). Maps of the crossings are included in the video clip.

Landy,

That's a well set-up rig. Looks as if you do a fair bit of travelling.

Bob,

Sorry but there'll be no sequal to that video series. Perhaps after our next trip?

Terrific stuff Bob! Having lived at Kununurra for 8 years from 1985, we know the El questro crossing well. We were able to stay there when it was just a free bush camp, well before its popularity of today.

Abraxxas,

We were pleased the clip revivied old memories. Yes, the Kimberleys - particularly around the Kununurra region - are magnificent.

Piece of cake compared to your adventure Peter.

That was just a puddle the real bog hole was around the corner a few Km up the track. Looked like another puddle but it was a lot deeper and muddy but the Nissan handled it...

Wayne,

Nissans are wonderful vehicles. We've never regretted buying ours.
