We were there in July and it was pretty ordinary. Corrugated gibber.
We were heavy so tyres down to 28 - 30 and had to slow down to about 40km/hr.
Got away with no punctures.
Cheers

Pistol,
We went from
Oodnadatta to
Arckaringa in mid September and the road had been graded and was in excellent condition. From
Arckaringa we went to Mount Barry and
Coober Pedy and so can't tell you about the road to
Cadney Park.

The run east from Cadney past Copper Hills may not be quite as busy as the other gravel roads in that area, but it gets enough traffic to be maintained frequently - never seen it other than 'good gravel'.

Went through there late July good road at times worse in other
places, if you are not used to country roads take your time, the scenery makes it worth while, good campground at Cadney.

Hi there. I was there 10 days ago. Road from Cadney to
Arckaringa was OK but rough by road standards in
places. Worse, say, than the
Oodnadatta Track. Dry and dusty, and due for a grader.
Arckaringa to
Oodnadatta much better, and an easy drive. But nothing to worry about; nothing requiring 4WD.
