Just been to the Landor races and took the new Black Wolf Turbo 300 tent.Erected in about 3-4 minutes or 1 stubbie and then bragged to everyone that would listen how good it was over another numerous beers.

However come time to pull it down do you think we could get the bast of a thing back in the bag .Read the instructions however not that helpfull.Asked the people we bought it off, they said just fold it up.Yeh right?

Does anyone have any ideas that are constructive??

Cheers

hey mate

i hv the same problem so i made up some long straps from 2in webbing (seatbelt type) with a buckle stitched at one end.

now when i fold the tent up, i basically get it as compact as i can, run the two straps around the whole package then just cinch them down which is MUCH easier rather than stuffing around. You could use something like ROK straps as well...

works for me.

cheers

Yep we do the same. Nothing that comes in a bag will go back in the same bag. LOL.

Video here is somewhat helpful http://www.blackwolf.com.au/turbo/turbo-tent-pitching/

Definitely take some time to make a rough triangle out of the tent before rolling it.

I cut our losses on our Turbo 300 lite.
Main tent goes into original bag.
Fly goes into separate bag.
Poles/pegs stay separate.

my blackwolf always sits on the roof or in a trailer so we got a Rhino Luggage bag for it. The half size bag (300 x 1500) is perfect and takes everything plus an additional tarp or two very comfortably.

The more you do it the easier it gets.

Mine 'loosened up' a little with some use and I find it goes into the bag much easier now.

I had the same problem with the Oztent first time, but was my fault, being impatient , when I took my time and folded it much more neatly it went in fine.! It needed some viagra otherwise was like trying to put a marsh mellow through a keyhole..!

I had some dramas both with packing the Black Wolf and then quality in general. Great tent but price/quality ratio doesn't seem too good. I did get our 300 Plus Lite to pack up ok but the 300 Twin Lite was impossible to get in the bag no matter what. For the money it should be better than that. Seehere for my review of them.

We have just bought a 300 turbo liite , and have the same problem , although we did get it all back in the bag twice now and are dreading the next pack up, however i am going to perfect it no matter what , i have found though , if you make sure the roof vents are open and the door ways open 2 or 300 ml
the air escapes easier and makes folding it up slightly easier , the other thing we did the second time arround was to get the triangle thing happening arround the poles , or legs leaving the extra ends or end rooms out , then drop it on the ground and roll it , that's how we did it the second time arround and it was ok , every thing fitted , big and fat but it did all fit .
