80series 3'' lifted landcruiser

hi have recently bought an 80series with rancho rs 9000x air shockers on it which arnt connected do they req air to be in them to operate or is the air just to jack it up higher,it drives like a boat?have sent emails to ranch re;imfo sheet but received nothing any help appreciated

I would expect them to be connected. The air pressure would then control the rebound of the shock.

Get an alignment and have your castor checked. They might not have been done by the sound of it., Ben

Yep, If they havent conected the shocks, Id doubt they did the castor adjustment.
I lifted mine 2 inches and you could hardly keep it on the road.
Take the model number off the shocks and check them on the Rancho web site for pressures.

Hows it going ,

These shocks dont use air , but have an adjustment knob to change the valving of the shock .

If its on 9 the hardest setting and still has boat handling odds on they are stuffed , These didnt last too long on my Patrol , although I did like how you could adjust them .

thanks for all your replys i have taken the rancho commpressor,lines and gauges out as i couldnt find a connection on shocks as said in one of the replys these shocks dont use air.where would i get new shockers to suit the lift to compansate travel any particular shocks recommended danny
