Gday one & all,, was hoping someone out there had any experiences with chipping their turbo diesel engines,, we have the 3.2 D-ID in the '03 Paj & were look to extract a few more Kw out of the girl,,,its still quite young with just 70,000k on the dial, we're not doing any towing, but cover long distances & need to sit comfortably on the 110limit,,as well as get round the odd B-double road train. Can anyone suggest whether this is the best option or are there others I should try before I go down this road?

Thanks for your thoughts..

A few of the fellas over on the New triton Forum have experimented with them. DP Chip seems popular as well as one or two others.

I havea Safari Dtronic in my 4.2TD Croozer and got an extra 15% out of it and an increase in torque as well.
At the same time I fitted a 3in mandrel bent exhaust and dumppipe which also helped a bit

Why would you possibly need to use a chip in those situations? The 3.2 has more than enough power to travel at 110+ all day every day (i have over 170K on my 2004 manual model) and overtaking is a breeze.

I really think that you are wasting money to chip a good engine just for those situations IMO.
