Anyone got any tips on the Adelaide to Brisbane route. We have 5 weeks to get to Brisbane, leaving Adelaide end of Jan, I know we are going the wrong way for that time of year but we have family commitments mid March.

was considering sometime in the victorian high country to escape the heat but from there open to any suggestions.
any help would be appreciated from you experienced travelers.

If you like the heat id go up through the Flinders, Cameron Cnr, Tibooburra, Bourke. Be nice and quiet out that way at that time of year and still cools enough at night time to sleep.

Along the Murray, Vic High Country, Cooma/Mt Kosiuscko, down to NSW coast at Batemans Bay then north along the coast. School holidays will be over by the time you hit the coast so should be places to stay.
