I own a beautiful 68 mod Beetle and I'm bitting on a 83 kombi on e-bay at the moment......., what are your toys?
hard to get away from the aircooled models :-)

Have 2 x 74 beetles.
One stock and trying to get the time to do up.
On the road but not finished :o(
Other one is my sons which he races. 98kw at the back wheels from a 2 litre motor last dyno day.
Third car is a 1978 MK1 golf, which we have started work on, so we are not all air-cooled fuddy duddies :o)

Did you make it to the VW drivers club of Qld action day in Brisbane a few weeks ago? Great range of vehicles, including kombis, T4s and T5s.
The 83 you are looking at is a T4 with air cooled motor?

No good in the heat and water though. Seen many a tourist combi die in the Gulf. Fun otherwise, had a beach buggy for a while many years ago.

The kombi is a T3 aircooled with the 2 l motor( 2 hrs to go on ebay). My Beetle has a 1916 Stan Pobjoy motor but the mild version. It runs beautiful.
