I have an unopened can of Toyota coolant concentrate that is about three years old. Would it be any good to use after this amount of time ? I know that when diluted and in an engine it should be replaced every two years but this is unused concentrate, so I was wondering if it still may have deteriorated and lost it's efficiency.
Thanks Jon

Jon,
Provided the seal is in place I do not see a problem, 3years shelf life should be ok.
However for piece of mind buy a new one. A friend of
mine collects coca-cola memorabilia and has an unopened coke bottle from the 60's.....it is like a lava lamp inside!

It will be fine, I used to buy it in bulk for my own use at home, the last few bottles in the box would have been 10 years old by the time I used them and never had a problem.
