Did not realise that it was possible to add photos to the blog so have now done so.

Ross,

You can edit the blog over and over again - add photos to existing entries - link videos from youtube or vimeo etc. You can change every part of the entry, in fact you could rebuild each day into a separate entry if you wanted to make each section line up with the actual calendar date rather than having a single entry for a number of days. This is how we built our Blog day by day in separate entries.

We are working on the blog system to improve access and make the whole thing easier all the time so please send us feedback with your experience and issues and will we look at how we may be able to improve things.

Enjoy.

Rossco, just read the blog put in Sept. Related to your comment about other campers at Hunters Gorge - it is kind of like a Murphy's Law of camping - find a nice, isolated spot and someone will choose to come camp right next to you, despite the empty hectares in all directions.....they usually have a noisy generator (we have a quiet one!) and ditto kids.....
Thanks for the Lake Dunn comments - we are going that way next year and it sounds like "our" sort of place.

Well they did not have the kids or the generator, so was not really an issue.

Lake Dunn is great but talking to a few people here it gets very busy on weekends and school holidays especially in the summer months.

When we were there, there was about 6 other vehicles camped there so easy to get a good spot beside the water and nice and quiet.

Interesting stuff in your blog Ross and I'll check it out again, Bathurst 1000 about to start, but thought I'd let you know about Telstra Broadband latest. I brought aTelstra Pre-paid Wireless Broadband (USB Modem) and it works great so far, took it out 50km into the bush from Cootamundra (up a big hill chasing rock crystals) and it worked fine.
Can be costly if you want to browse or check out sites with lots of images, but, you pay only for what you use and every time you top up your new downloads start from the top-up day. Just for checkin emails, provided they didn't have any attachments of size, it should be OK. Of course I've only had it for three weeks and understand its only going to work where there is coverage, etc.
The way you put your blog together has got me to thinking, I wasn't really into that, now I can see where recording your experience can be really useful to others - great job!

Thanks Paul,

Have looked at Telstra Wireless but you must have missed my wink ;)

I really did not want to check emails as that would mean I may have to answer/act on some of them.

I'm on holidays and it really irks me that people (some of them my customers) can't accept that, especially when I've given them alternative arrangements if needed.

And I'd love to be watching Bathurst but I've got to work.

Cheers
Ross
