coil spacers

Hi everyone would appreciate some opinions on putting 50mm coil spring spacer on the rear and 30mm coil spring spacers on the front of a GQ as a cheap suspension upgrade and to counter the rear sagging. The vehicle has already had a 50mm suspension lift from standard.

hi Roger if its sagged in the rear or like me you carry weight all the time.......just whack 50mm in the rear ;
it will pick it up a good bit ...and will extend your time till you need taller or heavier springs.....mine lasted 18 months till they started to sag again.but i do a lot ow miles with weight ....am now going tray back springs with poly air bags

Roger. If the springs are sagging, basicly they are not doing the job as they are designed to do. I see no point of raising a dead spring. If it already has the 2" lift then the springs must be after market? I would recommend no less than to go and get the springs reset. I have not done this for a while but do the homework and some of these places will be able to put them back up under your car retempered better then new at a very reasonable cost. I also recommend airbag load assist suspension - link is http://www.airbagman.com.au/ great product, great price and you will never sag the rear again. Cheers Tony.

for an even cheaper way go and see any of the after market suspension people around perth - smile really really nicely - and get a set of gu springs for $0 and put them in. they are just scrapped but make a cq go upwards. rgds
Slow down and relax......

I would just replace/get heavier coils, they are cheap if you look around.
sooner or later you will have to do the job anyway.
